Born and raised in the village of Romeoville, Karly Ceci has long had an interest in fiber arts and literature. Being from a close-knit and accepting community this environment created a platform for her to explore many different aesthetic mediums. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and endlessly talking anyone about imagined and real adventures! Karly is working towards her bachelor’s degree in graphic design at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois. This educational experience has facilitated in furthering her knowledge of artistic ideas and skills (digital and tactile). Karly is currently interested in exploring how personal feelings and the history of heritage crafts intersect in graphic design and fiber arts.
